I got out of the house the other day. All by myself. In the car. It feels funny to be cruising the world again, well, the neighborhood anyway. Turns out, once behind the wheel, I got a few notions. I stopped by a vegan restaurant to pick up gluten free desserts.
Sometimes I try to determine if I have a favorite plant in the garden. Turns out, it’s impossible. I love them all. I have to say, though, Rhodocoma capensis aka Cape Restio ranks high on the list.
Hello, Gardeners.
Hope everyone is getting in some spring shopping. It’s busy out there, online and at the physical nurseries. Since big group sales are off again this year, nurseries have lots of luscious wares on hand. But, they are going fast. If you have your eye on something, don’t tarry. Or it will be swooped up by a more decisive shopper, and then the plant will never look so good to you. I promise. Don’t ask me how I know.
Lots of hearts to be found in the garden.
Am I alone in finding little inspiration in the winter beds?
Or so I imagine, until I put on my galoshes and go out for a stroll. Oh sure, squishy mud O’plenty. But seems there are some wonders to behold if I don’t sit inside and sulk.
