Nursery contributed plant descriptions

From the Amur River region of Siberia, this little guy just blooms itself silly - from late spring 'til Frost with deadheading! Blooms stand on stems to 12", blooming in singles or triples over a mound of 2" long lance shaped green leaves. Occasionally short lived like many plants that bloom themselves to death but reseeds or you can collect them and sow them yourself. They're easy to start. They are much more long lived in superbly drained, gritty soil and areas that aren't hot and humid. In wet soil they can get crown rot. Why bother? Because they bloom all season with a scent that is utterly intoxicating!!
