It's the plant that will have garden visitors asking "what is THAT?" when its skinny needle-like leaves turn gold in autumn. The feathery foliage texture puts on such an impressive show, you would grow it for that alone. Fortunately it's one of those plants that delights both foliage and flower lovers. The small star-shaped light blue flowers in spring are a delight in their own right.

Amsonia hubrichtii is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer blue flowers emerge. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens.
