Steely blue-gray finely textured new growth gets slightly darker with age. In spring John Blue Dwarf Blueberry produces clusters of white flowers that develop into green-gray fruit that ripen to blue-black in May and June. This is a dwarf and compact selection of our native Scrub or Dwarf Blueberry whose foliage makes it ripe for gardens and landscapes. Provide a well-drained acidic soil in full sun to partial sun. Excellent for muffins, pancakes, or fresh eating. A tough dwarf native blueberry with as much to offer the palette of the mouth as well as the garden.
