Chandler Blueberry is a fast-growing broadleaf deciduous fruit / vegetable or shrub with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by blue fruit. Attracts bees and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and even moisture - regular water. Does well in acidic, average, rich and well-drained soil.

Chandler Blueberry has one of the biggest blueberries that I know of. The fruit is large, sweet and juicy to make a great combination. They are great for baking, canning, jams, jellies or just plain ole eating 'em. The bushes are hardy down until -15F. The mid season fruit ripens in July for about 4 to 6 weeks. Blueberries need a soil PH of 4.5 - 4.8 for best crop yield. Chandler Blueberry is a northern highbush variety.

A cultivar of an eastern North American native, 'Chandler' produces perhaps the largest blueberries, nearly the size of cherries! Attractive bell-shaped, spring flowers beget delicious berries in late June. These are all season's interest shrubs with intense fall colors of red and purple, and attractive red stems through winter. Self-fertile, but cross pollination generally yields the best fruit.
