Delicious berries over a long season (July to August) on this compact 2-4? southern, low-chill blueberry make it worth planting already, but it is also a delightful landscape shrub as it blue-green leaves become a brilliant red in fall. S/M
For years we have grown this superb plant for its blue foliage all spring-fall. In late fall (December) the orange, red and yellow fall color appears. During summer we get a month and half of sweet fruit. V. ‘Sunshine Blue’ is cold hardy as well as being able to fruit in Southern California. If you only have room for one blueberry, V ‘Sunshine Blue’ should be the one. Flowers are soft pink in small clusters.
Beautiful flowers, high yield of tasty fruit, semi-evergreen, red leaves in winter, wonderful all-around landscape plant. Great in containers. Grow in full sun, in moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Zone 5-10.

Mid season. Great for almost any condition and it's evergreen and self-fertile! This slower growing, semi-dwarf (to 3') blueberry has a heavily branched yet compact habit. Pretty pink flowers fade to white in the spring, and yield an abundant supply of delicious, tangy sweet blueberries. A beautiful shrub for the border or planted in mass on the hillside.

This is a southern highbush cultivar, which means it has a low chilling requirement for fruit set. It's also self-fertile and very compact. Flowers are pink (instead of the usual white), and the small to medium-size, midseason fruit are dark blue. Evergreen where winters are mild. Tolerant of relatively high soil pH.
