From Arizona, an extremely hardy century plant growing in colonies of giant (nearly 2 ft), blue, artichoke-like rosettes. Good air circulation, bright light and good drainage. Native to cold climates of snow-covered and frozen ground; should be frost hardy to well below -10ºF or USDA zone 6.
