Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Despite a relatively low yield, Crystal's has made it a fairly popular hop. It's woodsy, green, floral and fruity with herb and spice notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper. Extremely versatile, it's even used for its notable aromatic qualities in IPAs and Bitters despite its low alpha acid content.
This increasingly popular hops is a triploid aroma-type variety, a blend of Cascade, Brewer's Gold and Early Green. The versatile profile is earthy, herbal, woody and green. Plants grow 4-6 feet the first year, twice that tall the second year and can be trained to fan out over a fence, arbor or pergola going forward. Pretty, productive and tasty. Cold, fresh IPA, anyone?
