Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An evergreen epiphytic blueberry from the cloud forests of Asia. This epiphytic species has glossy and small rounded leaves along the stems. New growth emerges bright red. The hanging panicles of blueberry flowers are quite attractive and quite different in appearance compared to most other blueberries I am familiar with. As with most of the rhododendrons native to this region, this should have some hardiness. Excellent drainage required for success.
