Holubec collected this in the small Caucasus in Georgia near Trialetskij at 2400m in an alpine meadow. Plants were caespitose to prostrate with large round showy white flowers often with dark markings in the manner of D. calizonus. This is the clone that we think has the best flowers. _ZONE 4
