Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A clump forming, evergreen perennial with highly decorative, glaucous, blue-green, stiff strappy foliage. Frequently throughout the year sprays of deep dusky pink, double carnation flowers, with a dark eye, are produced. Cut back hard when it becomes leggy. Dianthus tolerate, if not enjoy, lots of exposure. Don't crowd and provide good drainage. One of the best and most unusual coloured of the Pinks that we sell.
