Elliot Blueberry has late season fruit that is about 1/2 inch in size. The fruit does well for cooking or eating. The berries have big flavor packed into a small size. Elliot Blueberry needs 800+ chill hours to produce the best yield. It blooms late to avoid late spring frosts. It is a Northern Highbush variety. The leaves turn a fiery red in the fall months. Elliot Blueberry is a vigorous grower with burgundy stems.
Extending the season for fresh blueberries!!, this vigorous upright bush is the heaviest producer of Very Late medium-sized, slightly tart (best for cooking or fresh use) berries. S/M/Acid
A deciduous shrub, it is dense with an upright, multiple-branched growth habit. Foliage is a grey-ish green that turns deep wine red the fall. Burgundy stems add seasonal interest to this edible shrub. White flowers that are sometimes blushed pink are followed by medium to large sized, tangy, sky blue berries. 'Elliott' is a very late variety with berries ripening into September. Needs a late or very late season pollinator.
Very late. Enjoy berries through September with this excellent choice. Burgundy tinted wood contrasts nicely with the gray-green foliage and sky-blue berries. Berries may be quite tart if picked before fully ripe. Berries store well for a long period.
