Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the heaviest and early ripening highbush blueberries! The substantial yields make this cultivar a standout for the edible landscape, but the flavor is what really makes them worth growing. The smallish berries have a wonderful, rich, sweet-tart flavor and a satisfying, crisp texture. An ideal ornamental as well with its delicate white flowers in spring and deep-green foliage that turns brilliant burgundy-red in autumn. Developed in New Zealand for its vigorous nature, this shrub typically reaches 4-6'. Although partially self-fertile, yields will be far better with another highbush nearby. S/M
Reka Berry is dark blue and medium size with good flavor, vigorous, adaptable to heavier soils, bush produces heavy yields. Early producer mid July to Mid August.
