Dianthus 'St. Benedict' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with blue foliage. In fall and spring red flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Features grassy texture. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
