This evergreen daphne will get 2'x 6' in time. The plant covers itself with purple and white flowers in May. Likes full sun and good drainage.
This very hardy daphne comes from northwestern China, Tibet, Bhutan and northern Burma. Its flowers are rose purple, sweetly scented, and bloom in mid- to late spring. It will from a mounded shrub of lush evergreen leaves three feet tall and wide. Rich, well-drained soil in part to full sun. Do not move after planting.
This is a very underutilized small shrub. It only grows 3' tall but has many seasons of interest. Blooming in late spring with purple and white fragrant flowers, it is has birght orange red fruit in late summer, and it is evergreen.
Fragrant purple flowers, light inside, darker outside. Red berries, evergreen foliage, good drainage, Zones 7-9.

One of the good ones which we were delighted to see in Yunnan in '97 where it looked just as good in the harsh open scrub glades as it does here in the cushiness of the garden. Glossy evergreen leaves and fragrant clusters of pink budded white flowers. Nice red-orange fruit too.
Purple-black flower buds open to offer fragrant white flowers. A slow growing mound of forest green evergreen leaves. A choice species.
Fragrant blooms that are light purple on the inside and a darker rose-purple on the outside. Dark, glossy evergreen foliage provide the perfect backdrop for the blooms.
