    Daphne tangutica is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with green foliage. In spring pink and purple flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Features glossy texture. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and even moisture water. Does well in acidic, rich and well-drained soil.

    This very hardy daphne comes from northwestern China, Tibet, Bhutan and northern Burma. Its flowers are rose purple, sweetly scented, and bloom in mid- to late spring. It will from a mounded shrub of lush evergreen leaves three feet tall and wide. Rich, well-drained soil in part to full sun. Do not move after planting.
