Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Lovely splashes of yellow cup shaped flowers along its erect spikes. Extremely tolerant, easy to grow perennial for mid-border or woodland walk. Whorled lysimachia can spread so keep an eye on it. Since it's habitat is relatively moist, planting it in more average conditions will help to control its spread. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
Alexander' has great variegation, Punnett was captivated, and even with yellow flowers, punctata needs a lot of added pizzazz to win a place in Dicks garden, which it did. Our plants were self-grooming, after flowering something munched them to the ground, no fall cleanup required. Apparently we weren't the only ones with an eye for something new. No harm done a week later we had a nice flush of new neatly emargined basal foliage.
Beautiful variegated leaves coming from real interesting pink new growth buds. Yellow flowers over several weeks in late spring and early summer. Cut off spent flower stalks to keep from green seedlings showing up. Easy.
