Here it is, one day past Christmas, and I think it’s almost Spring. Apparently, the weather gods have other ideas. Colder temperatures are forecasted this week, but it’s a decent today. High overcast and an occasional peek of blue.
I managed a quick garden stroll and a few snaps before the 45 °F registered with my toes.

Podocarpus macrophyllus ever the trouper.

Spiky guys, doing fine.

Schefflera, fingers crossed.

Hesperaloe parviflora, aka Red Yucca, at four and counting. I love these & so do hummingbirds. May end up the most repeated plant in my garden.
- Container Sedums
- In-ground Sedums
- Dyckia NOID but cold hardy–so far.
You can always count on Sedums and Sempervivum. I’d forgotten about the Dyckia. It was a gift from Lance Wright.

I take after my daughter on garden shoes. Except Megan’s would have heels.
