Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Madame Lemoine Lilac is one of the best white lilacs on the market. This lilac was named in honor of the wife of the originator of many French hybrids, Victor Lemoine. The abundant blooms on this cultivar last for 3-4 weeks and add great interest to the garden. The blooms attract hummingbirds and butterflies, but is deer resistant. The glistening white blooms of Madame Lemoine Lilac make wonderful cut arrangements.
This glorious shrub features dense panicles of extraordinarily fragrant, double white flowers in spring contrasting beautifully with the heart-shaped, lush green foliage. This elegant 8-10' white lilac is perfect as a specimen or for a shrub border and as it doesn't tend to sucker like most other lilacs, it can be pruned as a standard. Stunning as a cut flower where its perfume can fill an entire room. S/M
Stunning double white flowers. Plants are vigorous and dependable. AGM winner.
