Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A lilac to bloom spring AND fall, this very pretty, small-leaved shrub (to 6') often produces its fragrant, rosy-lilac flowers in late spring and early fall. S/M
Native to Northern and Western China.  A free-flowering small leaf species which becomes a handsome broad-spreading shrub in time.  It can reach 6 or more feet tall and 9-12' wide, if no pruning is done.  The single, deep pink flowers of this form are more colorful than the species.

By: The Bovees Nursery

This is a reblooming lilac. It produces a big show of fragrant, deep rosy pink blooms in late spring and a second, smaller display in late summer. Leaves are small, as the Latin and common names suggest, and largely immune to powdery mildew. Broad spreading habit. AGM winner.
