Even though no indumentum, this is one of the most beautiful rhododendrons for foliage. The round leaves are medium green with purple petioles. The rounded 6’ shrub has beautiful rich pink bell shaped flowers in April.
Compact, rounded habit. Well shaped. Bright green, almost round foliage. Flowers are 7-lobed to 21/2" long rose to rose pink in loose truss of 7 to 10.
