Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Individual flowers exceed 2-inches wide and are pink with lighter pink blotching. They are carried in a 14-flowered rounded truss. This hybrid by Shammarello is part of his 'royalty' series which all came out of the same cross. Same great foliage as many other "yak" crosses with the leaves coated with indumentum.
Slender, indumented leaves of olive green grace this wonderful hybrid. The flowers are borne in ball shaped trusses of 14, each having reddish pink edges fading just slightly toward the center. And look how hardy it is! ('King Tut' x degronianum ssp. yakushimanum 'Koichiro Wada')

By: Greer Gardens Inc.

Strong pink flowers in midseason, fading as they age, with darker markings. New growth on this Yak hybrid is silvery, and the mature foliage has orange-yellow indumentum on the underside. An excellent landscape plant with a rounded, well-branched habit.
