Its airy cascading form and green brightly streaked with yellow blades (the reverse of Aureola) make this 14" x 22" grass striking in border or accent. PSh/M
'Sunny Delight' Hakone Grass is a beautiful addition to the shady or partially shaded border, with it's arching fountains of green blades streaked with gold (the reverse of the cultivar 'Aureola', which has a gold base with green streaks). It will grow to be about 14-15" tall and 22-24" wide with time. Easy care and deer resistant, although be on watch for bunnies eating its young shoots in early spring.
This great plant is the reverse variegation of 'Aureola'…green blades with yellow streaks! Grows a little taller than 'Aureola' and is a striking contrast with it's cascading form. Good in any partially shady location.
