The blue is a stunning contrast to the dark-pink of its new growth and pinkish summer plumes of 'smoke'. Despite its "old fashioned" name, this plant was selected only about a decade ago by Henny Kolster and introduced by Plant Haven. Grow 'Old Fashioned' for it bold smoky blue green leaves, and contrasting flower inflorescence. Fall color is remarkable, shades of yellow peach and red. Blooms on last year's wood. Grows 6-8' tall and 8' wide.
