Very small, nearly-round leaves emerge peach to pale orange-apricot. It will hold this color for four to six weeks maturing mid-green in summer. Fall colors range from plum red, purple and crimson.
The one specimen I have seen of this plant was spectacular with its yellowish orange colors in the summer. Not a real dwarf like Little Gem, it still wasn't as vigorous as the species. Zone 5
