This hosta is a bit of a 'changeling' with leaves emerging in the spring entirely green, quickly turning to a bright pineapple yellow edged with a thin margin of darkest green! Leaves are elongated with wavy edges and form clumps of about 18" tall, eventually 3-4 feet wide. Nice lavender flowers top the plants in summer. No self respecting hosta collector should be without this one…and if you only have one hosta, this should be the ONE!
Lance shaped bright yellow with lightly rippled green rims. Lavender flowers in late summer. A real eye catcher! Plant in afternoon to full shade. Medium size hosta
Leaves emerge green, changing to a narrow green margin with a bright gold center by midsummer. Narrow leaves which are noticeably rippled. Dull on top with a glaucous bloom underneath. Lavender flowers in August. A sport of H. 'Pineapple Poll'

By: Hoot Owl Hollow Nursery
