The leaves of Hemerocallis 'Secured Borders' emerge in spring with a narrow green center surrounded on both sides with wide white borders. The small, 12" tall x 18" wide clumps make a stunning statement in the spring garden. As the weather warms, the variegation gradually disappears and the leaves turn green. Hemerocallis 'Secured Borders' is topped with short stalks of yellow flowers in early summer...visited by hummingbirds.
