Superb gold leaves with blue margins, intensely seer suckered & puckered thick leaves; good growth; Hosta of the year 2007. Light lavender flowers in mid summer. Plant in full sun to full shade. Centers are more chartreuse green in full shade. Medium-Large hosta.
This is a large hosta with bright gold leaves edged with a wide blue-green margin. The leaves are of thick substance with nice corrugation which minimizes slug dammage. Topped with pale lavender flowers in summer. Exhibits good sun tolerance especially in soils with good moisture.
46" tall (smaller in our garden) Mound like and fast growing. Light green with a wide dark green margin. Center changes to golden yellow. Slightly shiny on top and glaucous bloom underneath; moderately corrugated, ovate with a cordate base. 2" long, near white flowers.
