One of the first of the hardy perennials to show off in the spring, this lovely all white form of Bleeding Heart is a wonderful companion to Pulmonaria, Brunnera, Primroses and late blooming bulbs, Plants grow to 3' tall and 3' wide, but are summer dormant, so plan for some annual filler plants for late season interest. FYI, the taxonomists have decided this from of bleeding heart should now be called Lamprocapnos spectabilis Alba, but it doesn't appear many people are using this name yet.
Large hearts of pure white on graceful arching stems sparkle and brighten the shade garden, and can have a visually refreshing and cleansing effect. 2' tall and wide. Minimum temperature: -40°F To protect delicate foliage please choose a shipping date between August 1 - April 1.
This is the pure white form of the classic bleeding heart. The flowers hang delicately from the arching stems which emerge out of the ground in spring with the flowers already forming. May go dormant in summer if soils are dry.
