Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A charming little Montbretia to bring hummingbirds into your garden; this diminutive cultivar features gorgeous, sterile, coral-red flowers with a touch of yellow at the throat on stalks on 20" tall creating a clump about two feet wide; a completely undemanding treasure for the border or container. S/M PP15587
This petite Montbretia bred in the UK is one of the smallest at 18" tall and 24" wide. Medium green, grassy leaves give rise to outward facing, yellow throated, coral red orange flowers from July to September. These flowers are hummer magnets! Full sun, decent soil drainage, average water. Great cut flower. Easy, long lived.
This cute little crocosmia is perfect for small gardens or the front of the border. Soft red flowers with a touch of yellow at the centre are held on stems to two feet. Upright, front facing blooms. Dark green, linear, lance-shaped leaves. Clumping. Popular with hummingbirds.
We have David Tristram to thank for this richly colored, long blooming Crocosmia. Each stunning flower bud features a crimson-purple calyx, a mustard-hued band and a deep red tip. Along graceful stems, the easily viewed, outward-facing, tomato-red blooms brightened by sunny yellow throats are spaced just right to heighten the fervid, floral spectacle. Easily tucked into a small-sized garden in front of Salvia 'Black and Blue', 'Little Redhead' spices things up, while its composed, bladed greenery keeps a lower profile than our other Crocosmia offerings.
If you can't cope with the vigor of 'Lucifer' but long for a nice red Crocosmia than those days of unrequited yearning are over. A sturdy little twenty incher with all of the flowers of its larger brethren. Bountiful flared red flowers with a hint of yellow in the throat. Densly clumping.
