Came to us from Kelly and Sue at Far Reaches Farm. The flowers are a deep rich red in July-August. Doesn't seem to race over the garden as many of the crocosmias do. A great advance in crocosmias over the common ones.

If you are familiar with Arthur Brown’s rendition of ‘Fire’, we are sure he wrote this song about this selection! We also call it ‘Big Red’ here…stems are 3’ (and clumps as wide) topped with large, bright red flowers midsummer. Hummer wars ensue! Non flopper for us in FULL sun, lean soils, occasional water. Burn burn burn!

If this is what you get for sinning then I can hardly wait! New selection from the UK that has to be Lucifer's love child. This is much better than that old devil with dark sooty stems holding deeper blood red flowers with a wider flared corolla. So bad it's good. Burn, baby burn!
