An extra dash of spice and splash of white is added to this already pretty 2-4' shrub: each toothed leaf is creamy-white in the center; adorned with blue flowers in late summer. S/M/GDr
Gorgeous mounds of fantastic variegated foliage to 30" – This herbaceous perennial has a very shrubby presence during warm months – Airy blue-purple flowers in early fall – Full sun to light shade – Most soils (keep it on the dry side on sticky clay) – Deer resistant – Works as well in the shrub border as it does with perennials…it also pairs well with conifers.
A beautiful foliage shrub introduced from Japan. The leaves have a striking white variegation to the margin and grey-green interiors. The habit is rounded and the plant matures to a nice controlled 2-3 feet high and wide. The flowers are wispy, blue and appear in late summer through fall. Best in full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Does not like wet soils.
A new variegated form of divericata with bold variegation, it is one of the best new variegated shrubs we have seen, typical blue flowers and exciting foliage, hey something must like it our stock plant in the garden came up missing, fortunately it is in tissue culture and we now have plenty. We wondered a bit about hardiness but we are now convinced that it is fully hardy once established.
A vigorous grower. The very dark blue flowers with a little 'curl' at the end, catch the rays of sun and bend them like a prism. A herbaceous Caryopteris, rather than woody, it dies back to the ground in winter. Self seeds. Highly variegated foliage. Clump-forming. AKA, Caryopteris nepalensis. From Japan. (Technically not a shrub but it gets as big as a shrub, so here it is!) When we first saw it in Cole Burrell's garden we were just stunned! Lovely!

A larger plant than the more common Caryopteris x clandonensis hybrids, this Variegated Blue Mist Shrub has irregular creamy white margins on broad green leaves, with loose spikes of blues flowers in August and September. 3 to 5' tall with an equal spread.
