One of the best meadow-rues! Once you see this flower at its peak, you'll find you can't manage without it. The open sprays of double lilac/pink small flowers from blue green foliage are enchanting. The flowers are carried well above the greenery and the colour is sufficiently dispersed to allow you to see through. A long-flowering must-have. Always in short supply so get on the Wish List for this one.
Pale purple double flowers with yellow eyes adorn this Thalictrum's tall flower stems. We often grow 'Hewitt's Double' among other plants, such as Anemone x hybrida 'Andrea Atkinson', for support, especially in areas exposed to summer wind and rain.
