Big leafed species not described until the mid 1980's and thought to be endemic to Bhutan until we discovered it in Arunachal Pradesh during the 2003 NAPE Expedition. Beautiful tree-type species with flowers varying from white to rich pink. Best in a sheltered spot.
Campanulate rose-to-pale pink flowers. Difficult to propogate.
