This slow growing plant fully lives up to its name: remarkable. The leaves, to 5" long, oblong lanceolate in shape, are dark glossy green above, and show a skin like tawny indumentum with a lovely coppery sheen on the undersides. Bell shaped flowers, to 2" long, in trusses to 8, are pinkish white with crimson spotting and external rosy pink stripes. Beautiful! (HY, hy, Argyrophylla)
