Foliage medium sized, generally four times as long as wide, smooth bright green, the underside very glaucous with scattered scales. Tubular, bell shaped flowers, only ½" long, in trusses of about 12, are a brownish plum purple, covered with a glaucous bloom. Not showy but very unusual and rare. (RN, rn, Genestieriana)
