Medium large foliage can be oval, oblong-oval or obovate, somewhat glabrous olive green with a covering of fawn colored indumentum underneath, which tends to flake off. Deep rose pink or crimson, funnel, bell-shaped flowers are to 10½" long and set in trusses of 12-15. Similar to R. barbatum, but has more rounded leaves. (HY, hy, Barbata)
