Foliage is medium large, oblong-oval, elliptic, or oval, and is somewhat shiny and nearly smooth on top. The underside begins with a continuous light yellow indumentum which later becomes patchy and reddish. Flowers, to 1 ½", are bell shaped, carried in trusses of 8 to 10, white or rose with sparse crimson spotting.
