Aptly named, this smaller hybrid attracts attention whether in bloom or not. When not flowering it is a rounded shrub with dark green, semiglossy, leaves. The heavily veined and upcurved leaves create a great textured shrub. New leaves have a light yellow line at the edges. Flowers are a sumptuous orange, lighter in the throat and nearly red at the edges and back of the flower. Bell shaped flowers have an orange calyx, visible in the loose trusses. Yo're going to love it!
