Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Our plants are 20 years old and are 18”x 48” wide. The plants are so beautiful with their oval leaves. The new growth is bronze-purple changing to deep green. The large bell- shaped flowers are light pink in April.
Dainty, bell-shaped flowers appear singly or in small clusters atop a bed or nearly round dark green leaves. New foliage is a bright bronze on this choice little plant.
One of the finest, easiest and most attractive of all species. Rounded leaves, bronzy new growth and delicate rose, bell-shaped flowers on this form from the collection at Caerhays. Easy in sun or shade and relatively drought tolerant once established, this is one of the best and most ornamental of all species for general garden use.
This plant has beautiful pink flowers with a very showy red blotch. The top petal has an interesting 90 degree bend near its tip. This is probably an old English variety whose original name has been lost. It has also been sold as 'Springtime', which is an invalid name.
