Flower funnel-shaped, 2¾" across, creamy white faintly flushed pink, spotted crimson. Dome-shaped truss of about 14 flowers. Leaves oblong-ovate, about 3" long, thick, deep green. Dense, rounded, very attractive habit. Tolerates full sun but does best in filtered light.
Pink buds open to butter cream flowers, evergreen, prefers humusy soil, regular water. Zones 7-9
'Unique' is unique! We really like its attractive, smooth, oblong leaves. They are so dense on the rounded plant that it becomes a thick mound of clover green. In the spring, the buds burst forth a bright pink which open to beautiful buttery cream flowers. Older plants become so covered with flowers that every leaf is hidden. (campylocarpum hybrid)
