Rhododendron 'Superflimmer' is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with gold, green and variegated foliage. In spring lavender and pink flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in acidic, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

Enjoy the lilac-pink flowers that cover this plant each spring and when the blooms are done be treated again to outstanding variegated foliage. Much more creamy-yellow then its close cousin, 'Goldflimmer', with narrower margins of green.

Whitney says "This sport is the ultimate in variegated foliage, and will hopefully remain so as it ages. The bright golden-yellow foliage is randomly outlined with deep forest green margins." Add to this a lavender ball truss and we really do have a "Super" plant. (A sport of 'Goldflimmer')
