Nursery contributed plant descriptions

For those of you who go bananas over those subtle orange shades, this one is for you. The salmon-orange color is not duplicated by any other rhododendron. It was featured in the winter 1979 issue of the American Rhododendron Society bulletin. The color is great, but it is really hard to capture its beauty on the printed page. Long, narrow fir green leaves clothe this upright plant. Worth reserving a place for in your garden. ('Umpqua Chief' x 'Fawn')
