'Jean Marie de Montague' has produced several sports including a variegated form. This one has the exceptional dark green foliage. The flowers are gorgeous starting with red buds that open to a strong purplish red at the rim. This is shaded to a yellow-white at the center. There is a strong red spotting on the ventral half of the flower, and a rose red star in the throat. Unsurpassed for tolerance of adverse growing conditions! (griffithianum hybrid)
