Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This R. repens hybrid is 2'x8' across in our garden. The plant covers itself with reddish pink flowers in April-May. The dome shaped plant is very full with deep green foliage. These plants are small but will make wonderful shrubs in time.
Considering the small, jade-green oval leaves the cherry-pink bells seem too large, but a welcome addition anyway. A choice dwarf with a tight habit growing wide and low.
A most outstanding hybrid, in fact, probably one of the best of its class ever introduced. It is tight-growing and has deep jade-green leaves that are a most attractive round shape. Actually no plant could grow much more dense than this fine hybrid. 'Lori Eichelser' excels in both flower and overall plant appearance. The flowers are proportionately large and cover the little plant with cherry-pink bells. As a very old plant it will measure less than 3' tall and twice that wide. (forrestii ssp. forrestii Repens Group (pink form) x 'Bow Bells')
