Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Eye-catching, dark salmon-pink with more intense color in the throat. Dense shrub with mid-green, long and pointed leaves. Tends to grow wider then high.
A hybrid often overlooked because it flowers so late in the season. Its color, a deep salmon-pink with a warm glowing aura, is unusual for rhododendrons and very, very beautiful! The foliage is long, pointed and completely covers the plant, making it dense and full. It flowers late, escaping spring frost, and after most other rhododendrons are all through. (['Grand Arab' x griffithianum] x griersonianum)
