Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Small, single flowers held in groups of three burst forth an electric blue with lighter blue throats. New foliage is bronze, changing to green. This hybrid came from Dr. Carl H. Phetteplace of Eugene, Oregon.
This hybrid from Dr. Carl H. Phetteplace is a real spellbinder. Flowers are electric blue, flat and saucer shaped, with ruffled edges. They are held in groups of three, with many on a single branch. New foliage is bronze, changing to an Irish green with maturity. Once you see it, you will definitely want to add one to your collection. (augustinii 'Barto Blue' x 'Blue Bird')
