Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dark, rich purple trusses with a darker blotch in the upper lobe. Very dark heavily veined foliage. Though it originated in 1958 it has only recently been made available.
This hybrid originated with Endre Ostbo in 1958, but for some reason was only recently distributed. It is a fine, deep purple with good foliage. All who see it wonder why they haven't seen it or been able to obtain it before. Well, now you can have it for your own garden, and if you are a purple fan, you are sure to prize this fine hybrid. A good grower that buds young and is hardy.
