Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Flowers of deep purple have a black eye which flares out from the center on the upper petal. Newly emerging flowers have an intriguing white shadow emerging from the center and fading towards the dark purple edge, creating a two-tone effect. As the flower ages, it gradually becomes a more solid purple with a black flare. Deep green foliage covers an attractive plant the rest of the year. ('Britannia' hybrid x 'Purple Splendour')
