Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A gift from Dr. E.C. Brockenbrough to the Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle, 'Bambino' is a tribute to children everywhere. Multitudes of ruffled, hose-in-hose pink flowers appear in early midseason on a very compact, well-branched plant.
Light yellowish pink with red flare and large calyx. Exfoliating madrone-like bark!
