Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The tall sturdy plants with maple-shaped leaves are strong and cold hardy and offer masses of flowers for months in the summer and fall reminiscent of more tropical locales. The flowers are white blushed with pink and are two to three inches across.
A shrubby, evergreen perennial. Sage green, felty, ivy like leaves, are held on flexible, woody, upright stems. Throughout the warmer months, open, cup shaped, pale pink flowers, with a dark halo are produced in abundance. Prune as necessary. One of the few plants which prefers heavy soil, even clay, as long as it's well drained.

A fabulous first year flowering shrub with lavish amounts of awe-inspiring 3-4? white flowers with darker eyes that change to an alluring pink shade. Provide fertile sharply-drained soils and, where hardy, prune in early spring to 2-3?.
Upright shrub 6-8' tall with large, pale pink flowers with a red or dark pink center. Plants bloom throughout the summer. Central and Southeastern Europe.
One of the most floriferous shrubs we've ever grown! Not a bit fussy as long as it gets sun. Occasional tipping promotes business. White blooms sport a red center and the blooms gradually fades to pink. Silver-gray lobed leaves provide a charming background to the beautifully textured blooms. Individual blooms are short-lived, they are produced in profuse. Semi-evergreen in cold areas, evergreen in warm. Fast grower. Species native to Europe and parts of Asia.
